A Statement from Ketcham Memorial Center

As Ketcham Memorial Center works to combat the spread of COVID-19 in our building, we report the death of 1 resident in connection with this disease over the past 48 hours.

Female, 84-year-old resident of Ketcham Memorial Center, passed away 4/7/2020.

The resident had underlying medical conditions and was being treated at a hospital where they passed away.

While we strive for transparency in everything we do, please know that we are bound by federal guidelines under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which protect the privacy of our residents, who may not want their condition known. Our medical directors follow all established federal laws. We notify families of any change in the medical condition of their loved ones. Our residents are our priority.

At this time; Ketcham Memorial Center's focus is on ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and we are following protocols identified by CMS and CDC to ensure their safety and well-being. We will be providing ongoing updates via our webpage and social media for families, media, and the greater community.
