ND will utilize the following calendar of E-Learning days for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Teachers will be available from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. each day listed below except for April 10. On April 10, the teachers will not be available and, therefore, questions/help will need to be addressed on April 14.

  • E-Learning days in April: 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30
  • E-Learning days in May: 1, 5, 6, 7, 8
  • All E-Learning (including packets) homework must be turned in by 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.

Beginning Tuesday, April 7, at 8 a.m., homework packets will be available by pickup for the students that have requested the actual packets. Elementary door #1 and jr/sr high school door #2 will be open daily from 8 a.m.-  8 p.m. for packets to be picked up or for homework to be dropped off. We encourage weekly pickup and weekly dropoff of the homework packets. If a student has made other arrangements for delivery, please be sure that you have coordinated that with the appropriate principal's office.

Report cards will be emailed on June 1 to the parent email that is on file in Harmony; therefore, please make sure that your contact information (email, cell phone, address etc) is up-to-date. If you have issues logging into Harmony to make any of these updates, please reach out to your building principal's office.

Kindergarten through grade 11 students will be expected to successfully complete all coursework through E-Learning/packets for the 2019-2020 school year.

In compliance with Governor Holcomb and the Indiana Department of Education, all seniors who were enrolled in classes as of March 19, 2020 will be considered as meeting all course and credit requirements for graduation. E-Learning expectations are to continue in accordance with the ND E-Learning calendar for April and May. Transcripts will be available in parchment on June 1.

Any student enrolled in a dual credit or early college course at ND will be expected to complete all work as assigned. To clarify, dual credit/early college does not allow Pass/Fail as some other traditional colleges have.

Graduation is currently scheduled for Friday, May 22, at 7 p.m. As we receive more guidance from Governor Holcomb, an announcement will be made sometime in May regarding the 2020 graduation. ND will do all we can to hold a graduation ceremony — even if it means postponing it to June or July.

OCU graduation is scheduled for December 5 and ND Early College Class of 2020 has been invited to participate. We will share more information as we know. Please remember to keep your ND cap and gown if you plan to participate in the OCU graduation because you will need it for that ceremony also.

Final exams for 2019-2020 are waived.

Prom is currently re-scheduled for May 16. As we receive more guidance from Governor Holcomb, we will continue to update the prom arrangements.

The IHSAA has canceled spring sports for the 2019-2020 school year. More guidance will be forthcoming from Brent Dalrymple (ND Athletic Director) and our spring coaches.

ND Food Service will continue to provide Grab-N-Go meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays through May 28 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. via drive-thru pick up in the back parking lot of ND Elementary. You do not have to sign up for the meals; however, if possible, we ask that you let us know via email to gfood@ndaviess.k12.in.us or phone message or FB private message just so we can be fully prepared for the number of pickups. Also, if you are unable to pick up meals during that time, please contact either principal's office to arrange other accommodations.

We anticipated laptops/chargers, library books, and textbooks to be returned/dropped off sometime in May. More information on this topic will be released at a later date.

Students in grade Kg through 12 will be able to clean out their lockers/cubbies sometime in May. More information on this topic will be released at a later date.

Please be sure to check your school email daily. Mrs. Smith (HS Guidance Counselor) will be sending frequent emails about SCHOLARSHIPS and scheduling for the 2020-2021 school year.
